History: Moosch was born in the middle of a small forest under the shade of an oak tree. He was his mother's first calf to survive, so she was extremely protective of him. Within a few days, he was able to stand and walk around. In a few weeks he was able to swim. His mother would take him to the stream, so they could wallow in the cool water. One day, while they were standing in the stream, a bear approached, looking for salmon. Moosch's mother panicked and told him to hide in the long grass by the bank. The bear, seeing the sudden flurry of movement, attacked the nearest thing- his mother. She died defending her first and only son. Moosch sat in the reeds paralyzed with fear. The bear moved off, but he waited a few hours before venturing out again. He was at an age when he did not have to rely on his mother for food, but he still needed the comfort and protection her. He sat on the riverbank and cried. After a few days, he got up and wondered through the forest. Nothing has tried to attack him yet, but he desperately needs to find someone to watch over him soon.
I understand the risk of having a prey character this young by himself, but there is a plot that I already have going with Kai.
Personality: Before his mother's death, he was assertive and pushy. He liked to play and frolic, but he never had another calf to play with. Now he is shy and withdrawn. He is reluctant to talk to anyone. He The circumstances have forced him to grow up quickly. He is not aggressive in any way, and would rather flee than stick around to fight. Any sign of a bear or other predator sends him into a panic.
